What is CEL?

The Center for Education and Leadership is a career academy with a focus on teaching and leadership development. Our goal is to prepare students with the skills necessary to be effective leaders in the workplace.

What Do You Do in CEL Class?

In the classroom, we compose and deliever oral presntations, build relationships through group activities, study and develop ethical principles, become informed on teaching strategies, and solidify our leadership skills on an everyday basis.

How Do I Apply for CEL?

To apply for CEL, parents must use the PCSB Student Reservation System. Visit our "How to Apply" page for a link to this system and important dates for applying.

I'm Not a Pinellas County Schools 8th Grader (Home School, Private School, Etc.), Where Do I Get a Course Request Form?

I've Applied and Been Accepted, Now What?

Check back at our website for updates as the school year comes to an end. A week or two before school begins for the 2016-2017 school year, we will be having a freshmen orientation for our incoming, new CEL students only.
